Watching the stock minute by minute is very stressful and can lead to wrong decisions. So, therefore decide depending on the condition is to relax or take a nap and come later in an hour or before closing the trading day by half houre.
Predicting the Dow during the day mostly almost impossible and the market or Dow can play a game on you any time.
A strong or dull flat Dow can make sudden movement up or down before the end of the trading day unexpectedly.
