Camcorders Samsung under $200
For around $200+ there are some very good camcorders at JVC, mainly memory card camcorders like the GZ-HM30AUS has high definition video, 40 optical zoom and you can do time lapse video. It has a traditional shape for a camcorder. The Samsung F50 SMX-F50SN is standard def but is a little smaller but still in the traditional camcorder format. If you are only uploading to YouTube or you want to stay under the $200 level then I'd take a look at this one at TigerDirect. Battery life? If you are recording mainly at home then what does it matter? Plug it in and you are good to go. Bottom line, for $200 you can do ok if you are willing to do more research, adjust your expectations and work with what you have.
